Nurses' Christian Union
Miss Arnold is working as travelling secretary to part of South Island. She has visited Oamaru Public Hospital and had a successful meeting. Also Dunedin Public Hospital, Dunedin St. Helens, Dunedin Forth Street, Dunedin Karitane Harris Hospitals. She intends to extend her visit to Invercargill during July.
Miss Goldsmith has undertaken to speak to the nurses at Wairoa and Gisborne, and if possible Waipukurau and Dannevirke. Most interesting letter have
been received from our Missionary Nurses at various stations, and these are circulated through the various study circles and much appreciated.
At a meeting of the Committee, held on 25th Juu-e, a vote of sympathy with Sister Milne, m the loss of her mother, was carried, the members standing m silence.
It was decided to invite the Post-Grad-uate studentas to tea, and interest them m the objects of the Union,
