Special attention, therefore, has been paid to muscle attachment and action and joints, so that those studiyng for a massage certificate should find all that is necessary for their special work. The illustrations are numerous. The physiology portion of the book which more concerns the general nurse, is very clearly and concisely given. There are three appendices giving even more detailed information concerning the nerves their actions, distribution and names, and the centres of ossification.
