Farewell to Miss Ratliff

A pleasant afternoon tea party was given by the Council of the N.Z.T.N.A., Wellington Branch, to say farewell to the retiring Matron of the Club, Miss Ratliff. As Miss Ratliff is only leaving the Club to take a position on the staff of the Wellington Hospital, the occasion was not marked by regret at parting, and the afternoon passed off very happily with a delicious afternoon tea and a little dancing to the gramophone, and

some recitations by Miss Wolfe, which were much enjoyed. Among those present were Miss Gill, who is appointed Matron, and Miss Allen, who has already taken up her duties. Miss Bicknell, Miss Pengelly, Miss McRae, Miss Maclean, Miss Macgregor, Mrs. Corkill, Miss Broad, Miss West, Miss Willis, and quite a number of the nurses resident at the Club. The Club Room was very prettily decorated with flowers.
