Marriages and Engagements
Miss Florence Taylor, trained m the Wellington Hospital and later of Stafford Hospital, Dunedin, is how Mrs. Bundle, and has made her home m Dunedin.
The engagement is announced from Belgium of Miss Doris Finch, late of Geraldine, to Mr. Alexander Lyle, of Antwerp.
Miss Edith Lewis, Matron of the Blenheim Hospital, is engaged to Mr. Nees, the chairman of the Hospital. The wedding will take place within the next few months.
Miss Elsie Rendall, of Royston Hospital, Hastings, is to be married shortly to Major Warner, of Hawke's Bay. Her friends will be glad to hear that she has recovered from her serious operation for gall stones, and is now convalescing.
Miss Muriel McWilliam, of Royston Hospital, Hastings, is engaged to Canon Maclean, of Havelock, Hawke's Bay. Nurse Laurensen, late of Wellington Hospital, and the first travelling secretary of the N.C.U., is engaged to Mr. D. M. Nielsen, of Taumarunui, and is to be married on June 3rd. Sister Charlotte Matthews, late N.Z. A.N.S., who went with Sister Glynes to Durban about two years ago, is now Mrs. Colinbrander. Her home is at Tugela, Zululand. Miss Christine Smith, registered masseuse, who served with the N.Z.A.N.S. during the Avar and has for some time carried on her profession in Willis Street with Miss Brandon, is engaged to Mr. Charles Webb Bowen, of Dannevirke. Nurse Edith Reid, trained at St. Helens Hospital, Auckland, is now Mrs. Munroe, Victoria Avenue, Auckland. Nurse Lilian Pegg, trained at Essex Home. Christchurch, is now Mrs. Graham.
