I—That1 — That where necessary the Rules of the Branches of the N.Z.T.N.A. be altered to bring them up to the requirements of the Rules for the Central Council. 2 — ln view of the proposed additions of private wards to the public hospitals, that the interest of trained nurses be protected by allowing the patients to choose their own nurses if desired and that trained nurses be employed m the same ratio as m private hospitals. 3 — That the owners of private hospitals be asked to make some concession for nurses when under treatment m their homes. 4 — That m view of the possibility of private patients being accommodated m private wards at public hospitals, it should be recommended that registered nurses only must be employed to nurse those patients. s—That5 — That m the event of the Nurses' and Midwives ' Registration Bill being passed this session, the Central Council discuss its provision w'th reference to making recommendation regarding regulations. 6 — That nominations for nurse and midwife on the Board under the Registration Act, be considered. 7— That m the opinion of the N.Z.T.N.A. the separate training of maternity

B—That8 — That all regulations governing training or practice of midwives and maternity nurses, if proved m practice to be unnecessarily cumbersome or impracticable should, on the recommendation of the Trained Nurses' Association or British Medical Association, or of both, be reconsidered by the Nurses and Midwives Registration Board.
