Miss Agnes G. Hogg, trained at the Royal Free Hospital, London, 1910, has been appointed matron of Hamilton Hospital. Miss Hogg has had large and varied experience, having trained m the Children's Hospital, Pendlebury, and also taken her midwifery certificate, before commencing her general training. During

the war she was m Italy, and was matron of a hospital m Florence m which she had instituted the training of nurses on English lines. In 1918 she was on the staff of the Exeter War Hospital, and m 1919 went to Constantinople. Later she was travelling Inspector of Native Midwives and Dispensary Work m Egypt.
