MISS MOORE'S APPOINTMENT.

Miss Janet Moore, A.R.R.C., trained at Dunedin Hospital and Batehelor Maternity Hospital, and until recently Matron of Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, has been sent to England by the Government to undergo the ten months' course for Nurse Administrators and Teachers. This course was instituted by the College of Nursing, Bedford College, London University, and the League of Red Cross Societies at Bedford College, London. On her return Miss Moore will be appointed Instructor at Otago University m connection with the Diploma m Nursing. Connected with this diploma, a post-grad-uate course will be arranged for the instruction of nurses, already registered, m the duties of Sister-Tutors. It is hoped that many nurses will take advantage of this course, returning to the hospitals throughout the Dominion to take up the work of training probationers both m theoretical and practical work.
