It is interesting to learn that a woman has been appointed as secretary to the Greymouth Hospital Board. Miss Kilgour took up her duties m March. This post seems one which a woman would fill admirably. Another position to which a woman is much more suited than a man is that of house steward, but so far, we think, no such appointment has been made.
