In response to a circular sent by the matron of St. Helens Hospital, Wellington, the pupils trained under Dr. Agnes Bennett contributed the sum of £16 to the fund collected by the Pioneer Club for procuring a motor car for the Scottish women's Hospital Unit, commanded by her.
While in France the Prince of Wales went to New Zealand No. 1 Stationary Hospital to visit the dentist. The dentist was engaged, and the orderly did not know who the officer was, and told him to " blow in " again. The Prince was very much amused.
