TRUE to the traditions of one of the noblest professions known to mankind, New Zealand's nurses have nobly answered the call of duty. In faring forth to the battle front to alleviate the sufferings of the wounded and to assist m administering the merciful benefits of modern surgery, the New Zealand Nursing Service carries with it the sympathy and affection of the whole nation. The gratitude of our soldiers is added to the admiration of all New Zealanders for the courage and devotion to their work which inspires these gentle women. The Dominion is . proud of its followers of the gracious Florence Nightingale. The Proprietors of desire to add their meed of appreciation to the heartfelt goodwill of the whole people m wishing the New Zealand Nursing Service GOD-SPEED AND A SAFE RETURN.
