The Nurses' Protection and Savings Bank Fund

The trustees of this Fund, Messrs. Stringer and Bridge, the well-known firm of accountants and auditors of Christchurch, desire to report that they are very well satisfied with the smooth working of this Scheme.

The Fund has been underwritten by the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society, Limited, the accumulated funds of which are over £3,750,000 and the whole of this sum is available as a guarantee of the financial stability of the Nurses' Fund.

Everywhere in the nursing profession that the liberal and far-reaching benefits of the Scheme have been explained and detailed by the Special Commissioner — Mr. Conrad

Boyes — nurses have with hardly an exception realised that this Scheme, which has been designed specially for their benefit, is one which should have their enthusiastic support and have in consequence immediately enrolled themselves.

The advantages of the savings bank portion of the Fund are obvious. In order that some idea of the benefits to be derived from the accident and sickness portion may be fully realised tlie trustees would like to draw the attention of nurses to the following typical claims that have been made upon the Fund : — Amount of
