Christmas Treat
The District Nurses of St. John's Ambulance had the usual Christmas gathering for the patients under their care for the last 12 months, on the 13th of December.
Instead of the usual Christmas Tree, they arranged to take the children to Plimmerton for the day. Fine weather, abundant provisions and Christmas toys foi every one made a very enjoyable day. The Rev. Mr. Walton kindly helped to make
the Picnic a success and Mrs. W. B. Fisher, also members of the Nursing Guild gave valuable assistance.
For the adult patients, the nurses had an " At Home " m St. Peter's Mission Hall, on the 17th. Tea and cakes were handed round, and a pleasant afternoon was spent. Mrs. W. H. Moorhouse, Vice-President of the Society, was present, and made every one feel at home.
