the 25th ultimo, in which he criticised the papers in Wellington with regard to the loose and flabby reports of the Secular Society here and finished with denouncing the cruel statement made by the Press Telegram re the funeral of poor Mr. Holmes ; we have had a full account of the burial from the Secretary of the A.R.A., which is totally different from the Press Telegram. On the Ist instant he lectured on the life of Gerald Massey, and I may add that Mr. Massey is under engagement to appear at the Lyceum here on the Ist proximo. On the Bth and 15th instant we had two grand musical programmes, and we have the last one to-morrow, previous to Gerald Massey appearing on the Ist of March. Our cause is gaining strength, and I hope the same of the Wanganui Association, Yours Fraternally, W. Tyrrell, Sec. Lyceum, Tory Street, Feb. 21,1885.
