Inspector Third-class, Alfred Buckley, to be Inspector Second-class. Sergeant-Major Albert G-eorge Barsham, to be Inspector Third-class. First-class Sergeant, Thomas O’CGrady, to be Sergeant-Major. First-class Constable and Storekeeper Edward White, to have the rank of First-class Sergeant. Second-class Sergeant Alexander'Wilson, to be First-class Sergeant. Third-class Sergeant James Burtenshaw, to be Second-class Sergeant. Acting-Sergeant Henry Kennedy, to be Thirdclass Sergeant. Third-class Sergeant Henry Kennedy, to be Second-class Sergeant. Acting-Sergeant Robert Wallace, to be Third-class Sergeant. These promotions to date from the Ist January, 1874.
Second-class Constables Lionel Downman Benjamin, John Johnston, William Bass, (George Benjamin Dance, John Mitchell Walker, and Robert Johnston, to be First class Constables. Third-class Constables Adam Beck, John Smith, Richard Haldane, to be Secondclass Constables.
These promotions to take effect from Ist March, 1874.
