On - or about tbe 12th June, from the dwelling of Mrs. Maslin, Geraldine, a cheque on the Union Bank of Australia, Timaru; drawn by William Grimmer in favour of George Kerrison, for £4.
From: the shop of Mr. G. McCutcheon, Hereford Street, Christchurch, during the night of the 16th June, one pair of Emperor side-spring elastic boots ; one pair lace-up boots, no nails; one pair of ankle shoes, lace-up in front, sizes 8.
From the shop of Mr. B. J. Hale, Cashel Street, Christchurch, on Saturday, 15th June, one pair of lace-up boots, with patent leather round holes, small nails on soles.
From the Maori Reserve, at Woodend, a white steer, about three years old, branded a large B on off rump. The property of Mr. Henry Hinge.
From the premises of Mr. Funston, Kaipoi, during the night of the 27th June, a plain registered grate, without the trap, has a fireclay back, size 3ft. x 2ft. 10in., numbered 1478-14 on the inside ; value £2 10s.
