It has been ascertained that Nielsen shipped on board the “ Ottawa,” at Newcastle, N.S. Wales, on Pebruary last, to which place he went from Dunedin in the barque “Indus,” as mate. He is supposed to have previously been trading between Newcastle, Melbourne, and the Northern Ports of New Zealand.
