.Toiin Williams alias John Jones, arrested by the Christchurch Police, charged with several cases of stealing from shops, has been committed for trial.
William Simpson, arrested by the Timaru Police, for stealing from a dwelling, has been sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment.
JonN Milnes, arrested by the Lyttelton Police, for larceny of meat from a dwelling, has been committed for trial.
Francis lleprurn, arrested by the Lyttelton Police, on warrant, charged with the abduction of Mary Ann Boggy from Hokitika, being under 14 years of age, has been admitted to bail to appear before the Resident Magistrate at Hokitika, on or before the 28th August.
John Healey, arrested by the Christchurch Police for stealing in a shop, has been sentenced to three months’ imprisonment.
George Armstrong, arrested by the Akaroa Police for assaulting the Police, has been committed for trial.
Henry Brown, arrested by the Christchurch Police for a larceny of goods, has been sentenced to one month’s imprisonment, with hard labour.
James Connelly, arrested by the Akaroa Police for stealing, has been sentenced to two months’ imprisonment.
Patrick Denollay, arrested by the Lyttelton Police for an indecent assault on a female child under five years of age, has been sentenced to two months’ imprisonment.
William Jones, arrested by the Lyttelton Police for for forgery and uttering a cheque, has been committed for trial.
William Simpson, arrested by the Timaru Police for stealing from the person, has been committed for trial.
