Apprehensions.

Charles Wilson, Jacob Sungren, Frederick Siione, Charles Wlson, and George deserters from the ship Captain Cook, have been arrested by the Christchurch Police, and remanded to Lyttelton.—9th October, 1863.

TnoMAs Sordon and Edwin Jones, deserters from the ship Captain Cook, have been arrested by the Heathcote Valley Police.—9th October, 1863.

Charles Enderbt, Surgeon, charged on a warrant tor stealing a cow, the property of John McLean, of Pnfid 8 lb ?Swv h f\ arrested b y the Christchurch Bolice.—27th October, 1863.

Miles Cole, arrested on warrant for wilful and corrupt perjury, was discharged by the Timaru Bench on the 9th instant, through an informality arising in a previous case —“ Regina v. Greig.”—loth October, 1863.
