MINISTERIAL CHANGES.

On Thursday last, Mr. Richardson resigned the office of Minister of Public warks, and Mr. Donald Reid, of Otago, took the vacant seat. Mr. Reid was a member of the Provincial party, but during the last session he was chiefly remarkable for the support which he did not give his party. However, he is quite as good a mac as his predecessor, so that the colony loses nothing by the change. Looking at it from a personal point of view, we consider that the n-hole affair serves Mr. Donald Reid right.
