Mis a McDowell Luis returned from Runcimau. Miss V. Sheild and the Rev. E. 0. Sheild, Upper Hutt, are on a motor tour of the north. Mr, and Mrs. Kearney, Wellington, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. W, B. Smith. The death took plgcp at thg Wanjja: liui Hospital on Thursday last of Misa Elsie Couchmuu, daughter of the late Mr, and Mrs. Couchmau/'of Kakaramea. The deceased had been in failing health for some considerable time, and her death was not altogether unexpected. The funeral took place, at the Patea Cemetery on Saturday'.
