THREE ON A LIGHT
CONSIDERED UNT,UCKT The fact that it is considered unlucky to light three cigarettes with the same match had its origin in the Boer War. The attention of an enemy sharpshooter was drawn one black night to a match flare in the distance. While the match was handed to the second man, he obtained his range, and when It was handed to the third man he 11 rod. The third man was shot dead.
