BASKETBALL
On Saturday the Hui-as motored to Haw'era to play Hawera Old Girls and won by 19 goals to 16. The referee was Mrs. Knuckey, Stratford. The team was as-follows: Misses Shirley Dallion, Betty Bosher, Gabrielle Morrison, Joyce 1 Oakenfull, Bar--bara Edwards, Joan Murdoch, Nancy Ileginbotham, Joan Nicholson,’ Mary Stew'art. The following four Waverley players Were picked to play in the South Taranaki representative team at New Plymouth this month: Misses Shirley Dallison, Mary Stewart, Gabrielle Morrison, and Joyce Oakenfull.
