BUILDING IN SECRET ANTI-NAZI'S REVELATIONS ' Dr. Wietsheim, one of the, leaders of v . the German Freedom Movement now in Britain, recently revealed how Hitler has been strengthening his U-boat fleet secretly in foreign countries for the last five, years. By sending money through : round* about channels he .equipped shipyards in Spain, Holland and Finland. When he threw over the Versailles Treaty in 193 he already had several U-boats built and many more half completed. “Germany’s pre-treaty * U-boats were built at three centres,’’ Dr. Wietsheim said. “The first established was the Dutch Technical Centre for Shipbuilding at The Hague, under the di- yl rection of Dr. Techel. The next move 5 was for the German Vulkan engineer- i ing firm of Stattin to acquire a shipyard at Aboin, Finland, with the ostensible object of supplying the Finnish Navy with submarines. The Hague yard also equipped with personnel and machinery an apparently Spanish' firm at Cadiz, which also built one. and half built three submarines for no country In particular. ..
