BOY’S'AND GIRLS’ CLUBS PARENTS ’ ENTERTAINMENT The Anglican Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs hold their annual parents’ dinner in St. George’s schoolroom on Tuesday evening, the function proving a great success. The toast list was as follows.— “Mother,” proposed by Mr. Brian Minton, and responded to by Mrs. Boagey; “Father,” proposed by Miss June Fairweather, and responded to by Mr. Mairs; “Combined Bible Classes,” proposed by the Rev. W. Walton, and responded to by Mr. 1., Fowler;/‘Visitors,’ * proposed by the Rev. W. Walton, and responded to by Mrs. R. Clarke, Ha worn and Mr. L. Grieve. The baby garments made by members 0 f the Girls’ Club were judged by Mrs. Mairs, the prize-winners being Miss J. Fairweather 1, ami Miss Thoima Stevens 3, The prizes wore donated by Mis. Ballard. During the evening' items wore given by the following: recitation, Miss Juno Fairweather, songs, Misses Peivl Nelly, Nellie Carey, Lormi Martin and the Rev. W. H. Waken. The acvmpanistes wore Misses Gladys Kcuy and June Fairweather. During the evening the Rev. W. IT. Walton tendered Ins thanks to the members of the ceinnuttee, and all who had helped to make, the function a success.
