SOUTH TARANAKI INTER-CLUB COM PETITIONS W ""■ Arrangements for intcr-club competitions were made at the quarterly meeting ot r the South Taranaki Croquet Association, held at Hawora. ' It was agreed that all matches must he completed by the end of February to enable the finals to bo played in March. Mrs, A. V. 'Talt presided. The annual singles competition for the Hennett. and Sutton Cup for players of 3-3 bisques and under will be started at Hawora on December 6, and the tournament ufill last three days. The finals will be played in March, the allocation of finals being: Campbell Cup, Park; Lees Cup, Tvaponga, McL’ Dowie Cup, Mauaia. The referee, Mr. .T. M. (Hague, attended the meeting and explained new rules that will bo introduced this season. ■The draws wore arranged as follow': CAMPBELL CUP (A Grade) Northern: Stratford v El tha in; lAxon v Tvaponga. Southern: Okaiawa v Munaia; Park v Patea; Hawera, a bye. TRIES CUP (Intermediate) Northern: Stratford v Tvaponga; Opunake v E Itham. Southern:' Okaiawa No. 2 v Manuiu; Park No. 1 v Okaiawa No. .1; Park No. ,2 v Hawora. MeL’DOWI E CUP (B Grade) Southern; Patea v Haiwcra No. 1; Park v Hawera No. 2. Northern: Auroa v Avon; Mungatoki v Stratford; Okaiawa v Maualia.
