PEACE APPEAL
BOTH PARTIES AGREE. The Italian Cabinet lias decided to a wept the appeal of the Committee of Thirteen of the League of Nations to attempt to settle the war with Abyssbua by conciliation. The Abyssinian reply to the League for an immediate opening of negotiations expresses agreement to such a course subject to the provisions of the Covenant being respected.
