Edwards, S. Edwards, Gilbert,. Glcnny, Hughes, 0. K. and 'W. Honcyficld, Haddow, Harknoss/ Mitchell.- Sheild, Wither; emergencies, Taylor, Naismith, Crawford, and Shell. PATEA LADIES V. RAWER A. An enjoyable match between the Patea and Hawera Ladies' Golf Clubs was played at Patea yesterday afternoon, resulting in a win for Hawera by 4 games'to’3’ one game being halved. The following were the results, Patea players being mentioned first; Miss Gibson and Mrs. McEae lost to Misses Burgess had Eichards. j Mrs. Crawford and Miss Hurley lost to Miss Death attd Mrs. Dalgety. Misses ‘Harris and Bourke won from Mesdames McAnerin and Davy. Mesdamcs Glenny and Baker won from Mrs. Budge and Miss Tonks. Miss Taylor Mrs. Harris lost Id Mesdames, Cotcy and Kay. Mesdamcs Haddow and Wither halved with Misses McLean and Elliott. MSsscs, Hoiicyflcld and Hemingway won from Miss Good and Mrs. Cox. Mrs. Mitchell lost to Mrs. Lewis.
CARLYLE LADIES ’ GOLF CLUB., GENERAL MEETING; A general meeting of the Carlyle Ladies' Golf Club ivas held on-Monday at Mrs. J. N. Anderson's residence, Mrs. D. Roots‘ presiding. Mcsdanics O’Reilly, Lester, Cunningham, Anderson, Taylor/ Misses ’ McCarty, Beale, Cleaver, Barnes. Adams (3) were also present.. Apologies .for aion-attendhuicc were received from Mosdamcs. Simmons, Gibbs, McGregor, and Misses Harris, Drayton, Nichbl, .Hunger, ,and Taylor. It was decided to change the ladies’ day to Saturday. Mrs. W; Lester was . unanimously elected clbb captain, succeeding .Mrs. C. Masters,i"andt; Miss L. Adams vicecaptain, > Amingoments were made to, play a friendly match with-the Patea Ladies’ Club. Several trophies have boon donated and suitablei'raatches’ were arranged;;., A hearty vote ot thanks was accorded Mrs. Anderson and the meeting rose. BOGEY COMPETITION. Oh Saturday the first round of the bogey competition will be played, commencing .at 1,30 ,p.m .sharp. The draw is as follows: Mrs. Simmons v Mrs. Lester. Mrs. O’Reilly v Miss L. Adams.
