PATEA DOMAIN BOARD
ORDINARY MEETING. The ordinary '.’monthly meeting of the Patea Domain; Board was held on Friday, Mr. E. F. Hemingway presiding. Messrs. Austin, Cunningham, Ramsbottom, and Roberts k w r crc also present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and" confirmed. In reply to the chairman, the secretary said that no further word had been received with regard to the election of Mr. Gordon Fraser to the board. On the motion of Mr. Austin, seconded by Mr. Cunningham, it was decided that the Patea Rifle Association bo granted the use of the Domain shed on June 3. The chairman reported that the Domain was in first-class order. On the motion of Mr. Roberts, seconded by the chairman, it was decided to have the uprights of the memorial gates whitened. The matter was left in the hands of Mr. Cunningham. It was decided to approach the Borough Council with a view to the silver poplar being grubbed in Middlesex St. The balance duly certified as correct by the Auditor-General was received. »
s Accounts were read and passed for payment and the board rose.
