GIRL FOUND SHOT IN BATH
PARIS HOTEL SENSATION.
DECLARATION OP SUICIDE
Mystery; surrounds the death of Dorothy Wright, a pretty girl of 24, who Mas found dying of gunshot wounds in a hath iii a fashionable Champs Elyscos hotel. 'The police, fearing a scandal in society and political circles, endeavoured to suppress news of the tragedy, in which a wealthy married French politician was allegedly involved. He states that the girl shot herself before ho could interfere.
Tire public prosecutor decided that Miss Wright committed suicide and an inquest was unnecessary. The police maintain the closest secrecy, even warning journalists to discontinue investigations.
The victim was born in Ceylon and spent her childhood in India and Australia. It is disclosed that the man referred to is Roland Coty, perfume manufacturer and newspaper proprietor. Roland states that he found Miss Wright in a room adjoining his bedroom. She held a revolver and he seized her wrist, but she fired at her head.
