DIRECTORS’ ANNUAL RETORT
Following is the annual report of the directors of the .Wavcrlcy Co-op-erative Dairy Company: It has been a record year for the output of the factory, the increase being loSi) crates of cheese more than last season, but unfortunately it has also been a record year for low prices owing to the economic depression. To date payments per pound for butter-fat have averaged ,s>id. A fur--thcr payment of 1-id per pound will be available by the date of the annual meeting, and it is expected a further payment will be made on the completion of sales. Despite the depression the company retains its sound financial position. •
The retiring dinjetors arc Messrs. W. Macfarlanc and W. H. Watkins. Mr. Macfarlanc, owing to ill-health, does not seek re-election, but Air. Watkins again offers his services. Other nominations for the position of directors are Messrs. G. Patterson, E. Castle, and B. Parkinson.
