OPIUM RUNNER
DETECTIVES WATCH STEWARD. Caught, after a chase through the streets of Wellington, with nine tins of opium in his possession, Charles 1. AleTntvro, ship's steward, aged 41, was lined £250, in default six months' imprisonment, by Mr. E. Page, S.M., in the ’Wellington Court on Thursday last.
