His brother, the Hon. Pert rand Russell, the famous mathematician and author of many philosophical works .succeeds to Die Peerage. Earl Russell was the husband of Ooumtoss Arnim, author of "Elizabeth and Her Gorman Garden" and other novels. He was fid years of age, and .joined the Labour Party in 1916*. He became Under-Secretary of State for India in the present Labour Administration. He was the author of "Lay Sermons’/ and several books, including "MV Life and Adventures."
