EXPENDITURE ON SINGAPORE
THE TOTAL TO DATE £2,772,000. In the House of Commons Mr. A. Alexander, First Lord of the Admiralty, in a written answer to a question, said that the total expenditure on the Singapore Base, including the floating dock, to date was approximately £2,772,000. The date for (he completion of the main works contract was 1935.
