SYDNEY WOOL PRICES RISE
GOOD G ENLHAL COMPETITION. At the wool sales in -Sydney the offerings totalled 11,oof) bales, of which ]3,1-11 were sold, as well as 2087 which were sold privately. The average price for wool auctioned last week was 10d per lb. There was good general competition at the market for practically all descriptions. Merinos were fully d per cent, above the previous week’s rales. Greasy Merino brought 22d.
