l-sWEEI’STAI\K AT ELTHAM. Instead cd 1 running district fire brigade demonstrations this year, it is intended to ‘bold a sweepstake competition among all the brigades in Taranaki. The event will take place on Taumata Park, Mltham, on leaster day. Trophies to be competed for will include the shield presented by Mr. Crabtree to the Taranaki United Fire Brigades’ Association for three men novice event, up to five years’ service. with £2 2s prize money attached. ■The shield is to be competed for annual! v at Taranaki district demonstrations. and it is a challenge trophy.
