WATERSIDERS BADLY HURT
FTEFGK 15V FALLING. DEEEICK. TOO HEAVY FOE, MEN TO HANDLE. Thtree waterside workers were ’ seriously injured Ey !i falling (E'rriek on the motor ship Fori Erecmantlc al Queen ’s Wharf, Auckland, on Wednesday morniing. They are: Alex. Williams, aged Hi!, fractured skull; Arthur Harman, aged 51, fractured skull; Win. Barr, injuries to back. Men wore lowering the derrick ready for work when the weight of it ran away from them. Barr was struck by the heel block, and the other two by flying wire. Several others standing nearby scattered and escaped.
