THIRD OE DOMINION’S CHEESE. BA IE A TO SEND 49,000 CRATES. More than a third of all the cheese exported from Now Zealand during the next two months will bo shipped from the two Taranaki ports, New Plymouth and Patca. According to the Dairy Produce Hoard’s allotments 115,034 crates of choose of a Dominion total of 299,250 crates will leave Taranaki’s ports. Taranaki’s quota will thus be about 38 per cent, of the total export of this commodity. Now Plymouth, with Gfi,o34 crates, has the largest -cheese allotments of any port. Wellington is second with 50,11(5 crates and Pa tea a dose third with 4SIOOO crates of cheese. About 47,027 crates of cheese will be sent from Auckland. The largest individual shipment of cheese to leave the Dominion was that taken by the Port Fremantle, which lifted P 2.21-1 crates at New Plymouth early this month. Taranaki’s quota of butter is only about 9 per cent, of the Dominion total. Auckland, as usual, is by far the largest exporter of butter and will send more than two-thirds of the Dominion total of 690,900 boxes. Auckland’s allotments amount to 425,395 boxes. Wellington is second with 80,049 boxes, and New Plymouth third with 50,130 boxes. Patca’a butter exports amount to 14.170 boxes.
