FARMER’S STRANGE DEATH
HURT BY FALL FROM HORSE. DOGS KEEP BULLS FROM BODY. Charles 11, Holmes, a well-known farmer at 'To Anga, near Te Kuiti, was thrown from a horse which bolted on Sunday, and he received a compound fracture of the thigh. AATien Holmes was lying on the ground hulls approached the scene mid attempted to reach him, but his dogs kept them back. Unfortunately he was lying on the ground for some time before being rescued by his brother. He was taken to hospital, whore complications ensued, and ho died on Sunday night. Ho leaves a wife and several children.
