GREW PREPARES TO DIE
CAROCSAE OX STRANDED SHIP. ONE KILLED BY HAMMER BLOW. A i’iunish steamer became stranded in a severe storm in tlic Baltic. The crow, giving up hope of rescue, located a number of cast's of smuggled liquor ami indulged in a drinking orgy while the ship threatened, to break up. The carousal ended in a light wherein a sailor was killed by a hammer blow. Eventually another vessel succeeded in rescuing the crew.
