WAIKAREMAONA POWER
GOVERNOR OPENS THE WORKS The Governor General performed the official opening ceremony of the Waikaremoan.t hydro-electric power station on Tuesday. There was a largo attendance. Sir Charles eulogised the work of the Departmental ollicials and expressed his regret at his early departure from New Zealand. Many members of Parliament and local bodies on the east coast wore present and a great crowd inspected the works.
