NEW RULES FOR AUCTION BRIDGE.
(I) Pick up your cards as dealt, t’o.u will be ready to bid ahead ot the others. {'2) It your hand is rotten mention it. it will guide your partner in has hid and play. (o) If yonr partner bids first, don’t hesitate to raise. He has to play it. (4) Never burry. Pry several cards on eac.lt trick until you are sure which one you prefer. (d) Occasionaliy ask what is trumps. It will show you are interested in the game. ((5) Walk round the table when yov. are dummy and look at tire other hands. Tell them what cards are good ami how many tricks they can take if they play right. (7) Talk about, other subjects during the game. It makes for good fellowship. (5) Always trump your partner’s tricks. Never lake a chance. (il) Don ’i try to remember rules. It is too contusing.
(LO) Always explain your play, particularly when set. It shows your card knowledge. (11) Eat chocolate caramels or other adhesive candy while playing. It keeps the cards from skidding.
