CHOPPED OFF OWN HAND
MAN'S ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. Francis Otto Nyman, aged 33, a native of Finland, who, crazed with drink, chopped off his left hand at To Wera station m July 5, came before the Gisborne Police Court charged with attempting to commit suicide. He was admitted to probation for six months.
