OBITUARY
mbs. s. a.mu.n. /The ileath look place at Alton on Saturday of Mis. S. Anion, one of the oldest and most respected residents in the district. The deceased was born at Braibourne, Kent, on September .lb. 1KII), .and was m.arried at Brabourne Church to A 1 r. S. Aimui on October 'J'J, I y 7.1. After living for some eight years after their marriage in Kngiand, she left for New Zealand, accompanied by her husband, and arrived on April I-!, IS7P. Shortly ‘after arrival they settled in Kakarainea and later moved to Alton, when they resided ever since. Mrs. Aiiuiii is survived by six sons and four daughters. Mr, Charles Anion, the fifth sin, residing at Morrinsville, and the remainder of the family being settled in the Taranaki district. She has left an almost unique record of. -10 grandchildren and 2(i great-grandchil-dren, Mrs. 11. Couclunan, of Kakaramea, is a sister of the deceased. 'The funeral will leave the late residence of the deceased at I p.m. to-day (Monday) for the Pa tea Cemetery.
