PROFICIENCY EXAMINATIONS

WAVEELEY SUCCESSES. At the recent proficiency examination the following pupils were successful: — Public School (boys): G. Spratt, J. Belton J. Aliddleton, D. Howard. Public School (girls): X. Palmer, L. Wilkins, E. Dallison, G. Thomason, Al. Johnston, M. Murphy, J. AlcGonagle, K. Quayle. X r , Masters was awarded an endorsed competency. Rosa Cross, of Whangamoinona, was also awarded an endorsed competency. Successful pupils at the St. Joseph's Convent were:— Proficiency: Jack AlcClenaghan, Laura Charteris, Rosie Christensen, endorsed Competency: Poppy Gray.
