RIFLE SHOOTING.

PRESIDENT'S TROPHY. The attendance was small at the local range on Saturday afternoon, only nine members of the dub being present to shoot for the president's trophy, During the afternoon tho light was very changeable, and the choppy wind was also detrimental to good shooting. The shoot was seven shots at 200yds and 300yds, the following being the combined scores: — C. 11. Christensen, 59. D. Johnstone 57. A. AVilliams, 55. V. Alartoiletti, 55. AY. F. Alexander, 54. W. Irvine, 53. D. Walker. 51. T. Johnstone, 50.

SHIELD MATCH. NEXT SATURDAY. The last shoot -before the Xmas and New Year holidays will be a shield match next Saturday.
