STORM SINKS COSTLY GUN
DREDGES SEARCH IN VAIN. A new 12-inch naval gun worth 20 thousand pounds, in tow aboard a tighter from Shoeburyness to Woolwich, ■was sunk in the Thames during a gale. Divers and dredgers have been constantly engaged in the search for it, but without success.
