The Rev. 11. C. Stuart is a visitor to Auckland, to be present at the Presbyterian General Assembly, which is being held there. Mr. and .Mrs. W. J. Muir arc spending a, short holiday in Auckland. Mr. and (Mrs. .Johnston, of Bangor, in-land, who arrived in New Zealand by the Tainui, are the guests of Mrs. Stuart at the manse. Mr. IE G. Dickie, M.P., was a visitor in Waverley on Friday. Mis. Leslie Matthews and her three small sons are visitors at Airs. F. O. .Matthews’ home. Miss Beer, who has boon spending some weeks with friends in Auckland, r-d aimed to Waverley during the week. Messrs. Newton King, Ltd., notify in this issue that they have appointed Air. J. L. Cross their agent in the Wanganui, Waitotara, and Waverley districts.
