LONDON PRICES MAINTAINED. At the wool sales 11,1169 bales wore sold, of which SSS 7 were Australian and 1668 New Zealand (says a message from London). There was a splendid selection of Merinos, including' a. largo offering of second-hand suitable for topmakers. There was excellent competition, with the Continent predominant. Prices wore, fully maintained. New Zealand clips sold as follows: —Greasy. Carlton Hill, top price IS-bl, average 17d. Bradford tops, business small; quotations generally lirmer. Sixty-four's, 48d. sixties 45d, fifty-sixes Sold, fifties 30d, forty-sixes 24 Jd, forties 23Jd.
