PATEA DEFEAT HAWERA. NARROW MARGIN OF 2 POINTS. Only two points separated the winners’ and losers’ scores after a return friendly bowling match played at Patea on Saturday in which the home side were victorious over a team of Hawei'a Club visitors. At the conclusion of the game the president of the Hawera Club stated he had a very pleasant duty to perform.
