The death took place at Balclutha Hospital last week of Mr. J. K. Mitchell, who was for many years a resident of Patea. The Rev. W, V. Martin left Patea this morning to attend the Presbyterian Church Assembly in Auckland, Mr. E. Papps, who has been on a holiday visit to the South Island, has returned home. Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Wybournc and family, of Whcuuakura, who have been on a visit to the Old Country, (returned to New Zealand ty the s.s. Taiuui on Friday last.
